Tonya Holmes Shoop has written an excellent book for beginner spinners.
She has a reference section describing many different breeds of sheep, including our American Miniature Cheviots. We were
delighted when she asked if she could use our photo for her cover. Tonya's book is available through Amazon - $20 plus postage. The photos

Breakfast Time - pictures of nursing lambs
are always fun. Here are twin Cheviots having a snack.
Cheviot Ewe and lambs - These are not
all hers - she is just baby-sitiing!
Spring Sunshine - These Cheviot lambs are enjoying their first
day out in the sun. How did I get them to pose? Patience! Patience! This is the photo that took first place in the Maryland
Sheep and Wool Festival.

This photograph won second place at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.
This is my beloved 3Z with her lamb. This photo
won first place in our Best of Breed competition. 3Z has now gone to sheepy heaven, but her wonderful genetics still are with
us in her offspring.
Winter on the Farm - this
was once of our favorite Christmas cards. Springtime at the Abbey of Regina Laudis - This is the only photo not taken at out farm. Mother
Jadwiga is the shepherdess at the Abbey and a dear friend. This photo took first place at the Garden State Sheep Breeders
Show.
